Trout Farm

This is a demonstration trout farm. Here, we breed the brown trout (Salmo trutta) and rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss), as well as the charr (Salvelinus). One can feed the fish, catch it and have it cooked onsite.

Children love to feed fish – the trout swim quickly to the edge where the food falls, rushes for it greedily, and some fish even jump out of the water.

Here, several roe deer (Capreolus capreolus) live in a large pennage around the pools.

The territory around the pools with fish is well-suited for a picnic – gazebos in the shade of old spruces, as well as barbecues and firewood.

There is an ecological trail from the geographical centre of Europe to the trout farm. You can enjoy a short walk under huge beeches, majestic spruces, and wild cherry-trees. Or you can also drive up.
